MALDON MP John Whittingdale has called the coronavirus pandemic “the greatest threat to public health that we have seen in our lifetimes”.
Introducing Community Shield
The Essex Resilience Forum (ERF) will be ensuring that people with the most serious health conditions across Essex, Southend and Thurrock, are shielded from social contact for 12 weeks during the peak of the epidemic. These people have been written to directly by the Government and told to expect food packages to be delivered to them.
Essex Welfare Service
The Essex Welfare Service is a new single point of contact for anyone in Essex who needs urgent help during the Coronavirus outbreak, including specialist advice and deliveries of food or medication.
