This week we’re looking at ways you can keep active – one of the best things you can do to help fight diseases like diabetes and other health conditions. Although it can feel daunting or overwhelming to think about introducing activity, it’s actually simpler than you might think.

Getting more active can be as simple as walking more and doing more physical jobs at home. Why not start by exploring the Find Your Active free online classes run by Active Essex. There are over 200 activities, with a new timetable each week and lots of free classes. There really is something for everyone.

If you live with a long-term health condition, it can be difficult to think about including activity in your daily routine. 

However, you can be active, no matter your age or physical condition. The chartered society of physiotherapy have some great advice for becoming more active whilst living with a long-term health condition.
