This month’s theme is Mindful March As the days get longer and pace of life quickens it is easy to forget the importance of taking care of ourselves. That is why we are excited to introduce Mindful March. What do we mean by mindfulness? Mindfulness is the quality or state of being conscious or aware of something. It is also a mental state achieved by focussing one’s awareness on the present moment, while calmly acknowledging and accepting our thoughts/feelings. Here are a few things you may want to think about whilst being mindful: Remember to live in the present moment. Pay attention to your own thoughts, feelings and emotions. Be mindful of what is going on within yourself but also the world around you. Keep in touch with the way your body is feeling Stop living in your own heads and minds. Take a look around at what is going on around you. Did You Know? HAPPY Hub thrived in 2023, making a significant impact on the community.
