Mind Mental Health Toolkit sessions for SWF

SWF Health & Social Care Group has been successful in arranging for two award winning Mental Health Toolkit half-day workshops to be delivered by Mid & North East Essex Mind. This has been completely funded by SWF Town Council and is for patients and people in and around South Woodham Ferrers (preference will be given to people from the Town and immediate surroundings, so mainly patients of the two Town GPs and other residents). This has already been promoted to the medical service providers.

I attach the poster about this and append some further information about it*. We still have some places available for the 21 January session so anything you’re able to do to promote this will be much appreciated. It has taken a lot, including the big Town Council grant, to get this and need to show there is a mental health need in the Town.

*This free training is available to residents and businesses in South Woodham Ferrers, and is funded with support from South Woodham Ferrers Town Council.

If you’re unsure about your eligibility, you can reach us at training@mnessexmind.org and the team will be happy to advise.

The Mental Health Toolkit: The Essentials is an award-winning, interactive online workshop designed to strengthen wellbeing in the workplace.

During this half-day course, you’ll explore the Mental Health Continuum—the spectrum that reflects our shifting mental health—and be introduced to the Emotional Needs & Resources model.

When our emotional needs aren’t met, it can lead to signs of poor mental health. By learning how to recognise and meet those needs, you’ll gain practical tools to support your own wellbeing and better care for the people around you.

  • The Mental Health Toolkit: The Essentials is designed to help you:

Challenge common myths around mental health

  • Build awareness of your emotional needs
  • Strengthen your ability to support both yourself and others.
  • The session also explores topics such as sleep and depression, safety and trauma, practical ways to meet your needs, and how to make the most of your natural resources.

Rather than focusing only on symptoms, this workshop introduces one of the most forward-thinking approaches to workplace wellbeing currently available in the UK.

Original price was: £75.00. Current price is: £0.00.
