Football at the Fella’s Fair
This month we held our second Fella’s Fair at Braintree Town Football Club. Throughout the event, guest speakers shed light on men’s health issues including gambling and cancer. Health professionals were available throughout the match providing NHS health checks and attendees had the opportunity to speak with various groups offering information on addiction, mental health, weight management, domestic violence and more.
The event featured on ITV News with our CEO Sam Glover explaining the importance of events like these that take men’s health services to the public. At half-time, a cheque was presented from the club to Errol McKellar representing Prostate Cancer UK.
Our next Fella’s Fair will be in Hullbridge in May so keep an eye out for more information!
