  • Mindfulness – is running at Moulsham Mill in Chelmsford, exploring how Mindfulness practices can support mental health recovery.
  • Community Service to Support Recovery – the sessions this month will explore how Volunteering and Keeping Active can support Mental Health Recovery and how to link with Community Services in Mid Essex.

As usual all our courses and workshops are free and provide a safe space for people to learn new skills, expand on existing ones, and attend courses developed to support mental health recovery. Co-production is a core feature of recovery college ethos; our courses are all co-produced by experts by experience, individuals with lived experience of mental health, as well as individuals with professional experience of working for mental health services. Our courses are mainly discussion based, and the College operates a ‘pass or participate’ approach whereas students can participate as much or as little as they feel comfortable to when they attend sessions

Courses are available to anyone aged 18 and over who have experienced or are experiencing mental health challenges themselves, who are supporting another person with their mental health challenges or who want to learn more about the topics covered.
