Recovery is a journey, and no one has to walk it alone. As part of our Recovery in Action series we are exploring how Community Services can support Mental Health Recovery by connecting individuals with a range of community services, organisations, and inspiring individuals who can offer support, guidance, and opportunities for personal growth.
We are running a session on the 11 June at 6:30pm which will explore how Being Active has an enormous benefit to our mental health, physical health and overall general wellbeing. This workshop will explain why being active is good for you and can support mental health recovery.
Looking at community services the session will explore some of the current sport and active incentives that are currently available in the Essex area.
We will also be joined by Shawn Leek, the mental health runner, https://www.instagram.com/mentalhealthrunner/ who will give an overview of how running and being active can have a positive effect on your life.
