Please find attached the details of courses running in March. As you can see, we have a full month of free workshops and courses designed to support Mental health recovery including;
- Bereavement and Loss – which examines bereavement as a process and how it affects our brain and how bereavement is unique to every person experiencing it
- Managing difficult emotions as a Carer – focusing on some of the emotional challenges carers face. We will explore the concept of acceptance and coping with difficult emotions such as resentment and guilt
- Introduction to Volunteering – this is an evening course and looks at the positive benefits of volunteering on mental health and how to start volunteering
- The New Me, Living well with Mental Health – delivered over two sessions this course explores the CHIME factors (connection, hope, identity, meaning and empowerment) to understand what recovery means to you and how you can move towards a fulfilling life.
There are still spaces on February courses including;
- Writing for Self Discovery – a three session online course starting on Monday 24 February
- Mental Health as we Age – Thursday 20 February – a face to face course in Chelmsford exploring challenges to our mental health as we age, looking at topics such as life changes and the challenges that accompany them and how to manage changes in identity and purpose.
