Norovirus, also known as the “winter vomiting bug,” is highly contagious and can cause uncomfortable symptoms like vomiting, diarrhoea, and stomach cramps.
Here’s how you can take care of yourself and reduce the spread:
- Drink plenty of fluids to stay hydrated.
- Rest at home to recover and avoid visiting hospitals, GP surgeries and other public places until symptoms pass.
- Wash your hands with soap and water frequently, as sanitisers are less effective against norovirus.
