We want to remind you that if you’re eligible for the COVID-19 autumn vaccination, appointments are available at The Lodge, Lodge Approach, Wickford, SS11 7XX on the following dates:
- Thursday 17 October: 8:30am – 2:00pm
- Saturday 19 October: 8:30am – 2:00pm
- Thursday 24 October, 8:30am to 2:00pm
- Saturday 26 October, 8.30am to 2:00pm
- Thursday 31 October, 8:30am to 2:00pm
- Saturday 2 November, 8.30am to 2:00pm
Although it may feel like COVID-19 has gone away, it is still circulating, and for many, it remains a serious risk. The COVID-19 vaccine is recommended for people at increased risk, including those who:
- Are aged 65 or over
- Are pregnant
- Are aged over 18 and have an increased risk of getting seriously ill from COVID-19 due to a health condition or treatment
- Frontline health and social care workers
