East of England Lived Experience of End of Life and Terminal Illness Survey – LIVE

Content originally from Marie Curie

As you may or may not be aware, Marie Curie is partnering with NHS England’s East of England Palliative and End of Life Care Strategic Clinical Network to conduct a study to understand the experiences of people in the East of England who:

•              are living with a terminal illness

•              are supporting or caring for someone with a terminal illness, or

•              have been bereaved in the last two years.

We’re pleased to inform you that now the General Election is over, the survey is now live and will be open until 31 August 2024.

Survey: Experiences of Palliative and End of Life Care in the East of England (office.com)

Helping us reach people affected by terminal illness

We have an ambitious goal of achieving a response rate that is broadly representative of the population – with a minimum of 100 responses in each of the 6 ICS’ in the East of England – including yours. We are grateful for any support you can provide in completing the survey yourself as well as promoting and sharing this with local residents, networks, friends and colleagues

Download Communications Pack

If you are able to share, to make this as easy as possible for you, we’ve put together a Communications Pack with various suggestions and marketing assets (see attached).  If you would like access to this folder please get in touch with myself and I will share the link to the file.

Interviews and Focus Groups

In addition to respondents to the survey, we are looking to identify individuals who might be willing to share more about their experience by taking part in a one-to-one interview or group discussion. Please get in touch if you know of anyone that would be interested in this

Thank you in advance for helping to promote and share this study widely across the East of England. Together we can achieve the collaborative vision of a better end of life for all.
