The Terms of Reference for The Lampard Inquiry, which looks at mental health services in Essex, have been confirmed today by the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care. Investigations have been extended to the end of 2023 and we will now take some time to go through the Terms of Reference in detail to understand the implications for the Trust and our partners and will update in due course.
We understand that this can be an unsettling and difficult time for the families involved, service users, and staff and there is support available on our website.
I would like to also take this opportunity to reiterate our support for the Lampard Inquiry – we will do everything we can to work with the Inquiry team to deliver the answers that so many families have been waiting for.
