Residents asked to stick to Rocket O’Clock this weekend

Many of us love Bonfire Night, but for pets, wildlife, babies, young children, and those with PTSD and anxiety, the loud noises and bright flashes that come with fireworks can be distressing.  

This weekend, residents are encouraged to attend public firework displays where possible, to lessen the impact on those negatively affected by fireworks. 

If you choose to have an at-home display, please stick to Rocket O’Clock and keep fireworks to the following times: 7.00–9.00pm on Saturday 4 November and 7.30–8.30pm on Sunday 5 November. Thank you for being mindful of others.
