![]() This month’s theme is Self-Care September As the days grow shorter and the pace of life quickens, it’s easy to forget the importance of taking care of ourselves. That’s why we’re excited to introduce Self-Care September, a month dedicated to prioritising your wellbeing. Here are a few ideas to get you started:Practice mindfulness meditation to reduce stress and increase inner peace.Spend quality time with loved ones, nurturing your social connections.Engage in physical activities you enjoy, like yoga, walking, or dancing.Explore gratitude journaling to cultivate a positive mindset.But that’s not all! We’ve also prepared a list of recommended resources to enhance your self-care experience: Ted Talk: Andy Puddicombe ‘All it takes is 10 minutes’ LATEST NEWS We’re working with Doctor’s Surgeries (PCN’s) We are very privillaged to be working alongside Doctor Surgeries and their teams across Billericay, Wickford, and central and east Basildon. This partnership has resulted in us offering additional regular sessions to support mental and physical health across the Borough. MEN’d: Fishing Group ![]() To support men’s mental health we have added a MEN’d fishing programme, running every Tuesday morning (from 10am) @ Northlands Park, Pitsea. Monthly Events ![]() Throughout October, we’re supporting you to Find Your Active. Our Sports Zone @ the HAPPY Hub is free all month to come in and have a go. Bikes to Fix/Donate Our MEN’D programme entails our groups fixing bikes which are either returned to customers or donated to us, which are then sold in our shop at the HAPPY Hub. If you have or know of anyone that needs a service on their bikes, or have bikes they wish to donate to us, then please call into the Hub or contact us active@motivated-minds.co.uk FAQ… What do Motivated Minds do?
