The Joint Committee on Vaccination and Immunisation (JCVI) has advised the government that those individuals on the learning disability register should be prioritised for COVID-19 vaccines. In a letter of response, the Secretary of State has confirmed that he will ask the NHS to ensure that anyone on the register has recourse to a vaccine as part of the sixth cohort.
